(formerly Parent Partnership Service or PPS) - offers impartial information, advice and support to parents / carers of children and young people with special educational needs and / or a disability and children and young people themselves (up to the age of 25) SENDIASS@cambridgeshire.gov.uk or 01223 699214
Special needs Community Information Point - is an information and advice service for families with 0-25 year olds with a disability or additional needs. By joining SCIP you get:
• SCIP Card
• Activities Passport
• Email updates on local events and activities
• Information booklets on local activities/support by area
• Request information specific to your child
• Carers Magazine
• The SCIP Co-ordinator can also be contacted for information specific to your family's needs.
Provides a broad range of events with local and UK venues, days out and SEND support for children 0-18 years with Autism, additional needs, learning difficulties and disabilities, alongside their families and carers. The group is based on the Cambridgeshire and Suffolk border, reaching out to Cambridge, Ely, Newmarket and their respective surrounding villages and beyond.It runs events, activities, days out for those we support focuses around social gains, sport, technology, the Arts, entertainment and interaction. And also offers parent-led support, working with the surrounding schools and providing an online community supporting families.

ADHD/ASD groups for parents run monthly at Ely, Histon, Peterborough and Huntingdon, run by Pinpoint in conjunction with our counterparts Family Voice Peterborough. Parents and carers who have children with ADHD and Autism – with or without a diagnosis – are welcome to come along. The groups are co-ordinated by Pinpoint staff members Laura Potter and Linda Green. Find out more or book a place at one of the groups.
