Our Pillars – Sixth Form
The Sixth Form curriculum builds on and from the knowledge, skills and understanding previously experienced by the pupils.
Be Kind: Learners will have high expectations of themselves, peers and staff. Learners will develop social skills, interacting with peers, staff and members of the community in a positive and supportive way.
Be Curious: Learners will experience functional and vocational opportunities, both in the classroom and in the community. Learning will be challenging, meaningful and engaging. Learners will be able to access learning at the Sixth Form based at the Northstowe Secondary College, part of Northstowe Learning Community and also part of Meridian Trust. Where appropriate, students can access specialist resources at Martin Bacon Academy.
Be Hardworking: Learners will study a range of accredited courses and will work with the appropriate level of support, but being working as independently as possible as we prepare them for adulthood.
