Swimming Kit A one piece swimming costume/swimming trunks/shorts and towel

In the hot weather please ensure your child comes to school with a hat, sunscreen & water bottle

As it turns colder students should bring a warm coat, hat & gloves

We have a school allotment, sometimes your child may have the opportunity to visit. When this is arrange your child should bring in appropriate foot wear that day ie boots or wellies. You will be told in advance if your young person will be visiting our allotment.

At Martin Bacon Academy we believe that in having a school uniform, we give our young people a sense of identity, belonging and participation. We do appreciate sometimes adjustments to the uniform may need to be made due to sensory issues – Please discuss these with your child’s SLT link.

We are now in the position where in effect only three items need to be purchased from Chroma (school jumper, school top and PE top). This puts families in a position that if other cost-effective uniform items (trousers, shoes, tops, dresses) can be found elsewhere, then they can be bought in order to support the school’s uniform policy.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you, that we do have a second hand clothes shop available with donations to FoMBA (Friends of MBA). If you are interested please contact Sarah Wells, Family worker at MBA.
